Day one

We bought the house fri april 30... a you can suspect no work occured this day.... i wanted to hit home depot but brian convinced me to do something else with the time... drink beer :)

on saturday my mom and bill came to help us get started... bill with his 6 broken ribs could not do as much as he would have liked im sure but they were a big help taking a load of construction material away...

we got alot done that day...

in living/dining rooms...
removed a layer of panneling and a layer of wallpaper... removed the drop ceiling... removed 2x4's from the ceiling which was keeping the plaster attached to the slats... took down dow rods heading up the stairs tothe second floor...

in the kitchen...
removed about 4 layers of panneling from the walls... oh the beautiful colors of green, blue, not-so-white-white... removed drop ceiling... removed kitchen cabinets disconnected sink and ultimately reconnected...

in the basement...
not much of anything...
